The company has hopes of opening a branch here and C64101 is looking to manage that operation as a future opportunity. C64102 relocated to Atlanta with her family from Colorado. She came from a telecom/IT background with entrepreneurial experience in the beauty and self help industries. CTP created the plan that delivered interviews and interest from several Fortune 500 companies. She accepted a lead analyst role with a division of a major home improvement company working to ensure its lines of businesses are e-commerce proficient. She was excited by the response to her campaign and the 23% increase in salary. C64103, a lawyer, worked as a solo practitioner providing administrative support. He found his business waning and needed the assistance of CTP. As someone who loves the law but does not enjoy marketing his services. He had joined an organization with promises of promotion to top management. When that did not materialize, he decided it was time for a change. C64142, a young man with excellent potential in the area of equipment sales, felt he had reached his pinnacle in the HVAC field. His background was in sales and he actually obtained two positions while working with CTP. When his first position did not work out, he returned to CTP and quickly located another position with a higher compensation level. C64176, a graduate of Georgia Tech in Electrical Engineering, came to CTP after his company had gone under. During the previous year, C64176 had worked with CTP to find another position in IT with a startup company. Unfortunately, as with many startups, the company folded and C64176 took advantage of his one-year contract to utilize CTP’s expertise again. C64176 accepted a position with a larger more established firm. C64177, who was working with his wife’s family business, came to CTP with very specific goals: gain independence and hopefully advance his career. CTP and Tom found the opportunity with a German company that included a substantial advancement. He was very successful in utilizing the Approach Letter with follow-up. C64178, an older client who had been downsized from a telecom company, accepted position with a major supplier of that industry, with the assistance of CTP. C64179 had been a manager with a company based in France. After reorganization, C64179 was faced with relocation to the West Coast. He chose to resign and look for a career choice in the Atlanta area. He was able to do that thanks to CTP. C64180 was in pharmaceutical sales and had been downsized. C64180 wanted to stay in a medically related field. C64180 and CTP found a number of potential companies with utilization of CTP’s many databases. C64182 had been downsized from a major telecommunications company. His background was very complex and had very few opportunities in Atlanta. He received an excellent offer, but his company bettered the offer and he accepted a substantial promotion with his company. C64190 was career military and wanted to relocate to the Atlanta area. With CTP, he received several offers and accepted one that utilized his military experience. C64191 relocated from NY with a major check processing company. She decided to pursue a career in another field and accepted a position in the Atlanta realty community. C64192 was in the landscaping business and was extremely successful. He had the dilemma of accepting an offer from a large Atlanta company or returning to Alabama with a similar business. C64193, originally from England, like many other CTP clients, was being downsized from a major Atlanta corporation. After considerable work on her resume and help with marketing techniques, she accepted a position in sales with a training organization. C64194, an IT programmer who had recently upgraded his certifications, C64194 was able to obtain another position utilizing his new certifications and guidance from CTP. C64195 came to CTP as CFO of a family owned company. She unfortunately had endured a very stressful situation and wanted to find a more positive environment. C64195 accepted an offer from a company very near her home and one with a positive environment. C64196 had been very successful in the telecommunications industry. His time with CTP had been interrupted with several contract situations; but C64196 received several offers and accepted the most lucrative one. C64197 was a sales executive who was very ambitious and proactive. With CTP and her background in the printing industry, she was able to obtain numerous offers in related industries. C64198 was with a large Atlanta based corporation that was going through a very sizable downsizing and came to CTP to ensure continuity. He decided to be proactive and managed a career change despite working very long hours with is existing position. He relocated to the CO area where he had wanted to live for some time. C64199 had a background in biomedical research. She had been unemployed for some time and greatly benefited from the CTP direction and resume construction. C64199 received two offers. C64200 was in the automotive aftermarket. He was looking to change industries, but marketing sessions with Trent opened up new and interesting possibilities in that industry. C64201 came to CTP unemployed. C64201 made numerous contacts and received an offer from his former company to return. C64202 was a consultant in the medical industry, but wanted to find a position in Atlanta to be close to his daughter who has major health issues. Within weeks of beginning his CTP marketing campaign he landed an offer from a major medical group and will be able to stay in the Atlanta area. C64203 had been a very successful entrepreneur in the food industry. His CTP resume positioned him for the next level. C64203 obtained an offer in the hospitality industry. Client C10010 came to CTP after having been downsized. He was an IT Manager without a degree and was having a hard time finding companies willing to talk, let alone hire. CTP created a campaign that delivered his acceptance of as the WAN Manager with a $260 million company, which provides IT services to the financial services industry. The company serviced about a quarter billion transactions a year. Due to company problems with a key customer, client came back to his coach fearful for the longevity of the company. CTP updated his resume and developed new marketing strategies. Within 2 weeks of the meeting, he was laid off. That was a Monday. Wednesday he interviewed for a new job, was hired Thursday, began Friday and called his coach with openings he needed to fill. Client C10011 came in after having had or was to have some high-powered interviews. CTP put together strategies to create offers. He was offered, and accepted, a position with over a quarter of a million dollar cash package and equity in the company. He will be an EVP and CFO. The company is anticipating the move of corporate headquarters to Atlanta in the very near future. Gary is thrilled, commented on how our efforts helped him secure the position and has left the door open with 2 other companies not longing to make changes until after the first of the year. This will give him time to evaluate this situation against any others that may arise. ClientC10012 had a civilian background in the imaging manufacturing industry and spent the last year of his career as a high-ranking military leader in Iraq. He moved to Atlanta to be closer to family. He was offered a position with a defense contractor for intelligence systems and will be staying in the Atlanta area, as he had hoped. Client C10013 gave 18 years to his employer and was then downsized. He was in a very technical niche market without opportunities to grow. After market research and leveraging the network to gain an interview with a very technical company, the goal was a director of operations role. They initially thought of him as a VP. It was a close call but the other candidate out of a pool of 500 got the VP position. They liked him so much that they had him interview with the VP and he got the Director’s job. He couldn’t be happier. Client C10014 spent the bulk of his career in IT consulting managing multi-million dollar complex projects. He wanted to use the knowledge he gained to help another organization become stronger. He joined a newly formed Business Solutions Group at a major multi-national company in a regional role. He is very happy and successful with a super fast paced ride since assuming his new responsibilities. Client C10015 had a miserable work environment in a medical research environment. She wanted to stay in Atlanta. She accepted a position as a technical medical writer with a fast growing company. This company was going to begin a project in oncology research, the client’s passion. She was also offered an Associated Clinical Director position in NC, her hometown. She decided to turn it down because she is up for another position with a leading university where she can continue her research. Client C0015 made the initial decision to buy a technology company. He then decided that he wanted to go in a different direction. He became certified in computer forensics and accepted a position with SunTrust and is really excited his hard work and patience paid off. Client C10016 has accepted a few positions since she joined us. She just accepted a position with a major Atlanta company as a marketing consultant on the consumer side of the business. She is excited about the opportunity. Her current employer is sad to be losing one of its top producers. The client is excited about the larger responsibilities and reducing her commute to 3.5 miles from home. Client C10017 was downsized from a major consulting company and with 6 children needed to find the right opportunity. With marketing research, networking, and strategies; he was offered a consulting position with a company in the NE working here; but opted for a better offer as the Global IT Engineering Support Manager for an international company. He will be responsible for 9 engineering centers here and abroad. Client C10018 a very high introvert had great difficulty with the implementation phase of his campaign. He was an EDI implementation specialist here in the US. Prior to that he had worked in accounting with manufacturing companies in South Africa. He holds a license as a Chartered Accountant (CPA equivalent). After targeting one of his clients for a Controller position, he, with the help of someone inside, interviewed for the job. We followed up with a strategy, which facilitated the employer’s decision making, and he was offered the job. Client C10019 started on the first day of a new job. He wanted to begin the process so that he would not be caught off guard. He had started out in interior design with an associates degree and went back to school for marketing and communications. He was a space planner for residential and commercial spaces utilizing CAD. His new employer did not have enough work to keep him busy. As a high extrovert he wanted something new. He passed an intensive test with a retail design company and has become one of their interior designers/salespersons. Although he has some physical challenges they did not diminish his success. Client C10020 took quite a while to find the right position. He went back to England to be closer to family and took a contract position with British Telecom. He really wanted to be in Atlanta. With a lot of persistence, we landed a Director of Network Architecture position with a company in Texas that is letting him use Atlanta as his home base. Client C10021 is on her second move. She will be making $9000 more and will be a project manager at a software company in Greenville. This has been her dream since receiving her PMP. Client C10022 is on his third position having been downsized three times. He had hours left on his contract before he landed an IT Manager position at a bio-medical company. Client C10023 was a sales representative in a highly specialized area of test equipment and had made some ill-advised career decisions along the way. With CTP, he landed an account manager position with one of the top testing companies and will be working the Atlanta market. He is very excited about the company and the position. Client C10024 had left technology to be COO of a start up sports advertising business that she and her partners owned. She decided to sell out and go back into technology. We quickly found a position and she is now the Sales Support Manager for a records management company. Client C10025 had worked for the top document management companies and found with the changes in the industry and management, he needed to pursue other options. He has an MBA and is extremely business savvy. He started up, with a partner, a vending company and is doing very well. He is delighted to be in charge of his own future. Client C10026 had accepted a position with a travel company but found it was not the kind of work she desired. She took time off to be with her children and waited for a shift in the economy to go back into travel. She convinced the company she liked from her marketing campaign to create a position for her. She would have accepted an internship for them to gain experience, instead they are paying her and she is getting great experience. Client C10027 a surgeon who could no longer operate. After carefully organizing his market approach, he has taken on several leadership roles over the last few years. He was spread very thin but loved every minute of it. He just notified CTP that he is CEO and Medical Director of a managed care organization. Client C10028 came out of telecom and had “almost” received some second level positions. Each time the companies decided not to go forward with the positions. He is now with two partners in a telecom agency business. Client C10029 came to CTP when her previous employer was acquired by a northern company and rumors of downsizing abounded. The rumors soon proved to be true, but in the meantime, CTP polished her resume and her interviewing skills. When she was, indeed, downsized, she was already interviewing with the company that has turned out to be her new employer. In fact, she received two job offers on the same day. She had the satisfaction of recommending her previous boss for the position she turned down. Client C10030 has taken a Sales position with Strategic Outsourcing, a national benefits firm. He retired from HR at IBM, and was looking for something to do, to keep him active and involved in the world of business. Although he had spent his lengthy career in HR and had; therefore, been exposed to scores of resume formats, his own resume, when he first came to us, did not present his achievements persuasively. Using the newly created marketing brochure, he made direct approaches to company officers, and he found his new position in his first month of interviewing. Client C10031 is the new manager of IT
security in a branch of a national office equipment wholesaler. He spent
20+ years with a single employer, as head of its nationwide IT department,
focusing on technology change management, before his company merged with
another, and virtually all of his original company personnel were
replaced. It was a hard transition. But with the CTP approach he landed a
new position in the very tight IT field, just three months after he began
interviewing. Client C10033 accepted a Directors position with a major communications company. She had a number of personal business concerns when she started with CTP. The CTP team helped her resolve those issues and interview successfully. She actually had three phone interviews with the company before flying to Dayton for an entire day of grueling interviews. She utilized the value building techniques from the TV session to nail those interviews and get the job offer. ClientC10034 is in the process of negotiating an offer from a major IT company. He was able to bridge over into another industry and define himself in a very convincingly way. His major attribute was the combination of technical skills with strategic thinking and rapport building, which made him rather unique to his industry. He should be getting very good news shortly. Client C10035 has been a very unique and enjoyable client. His resume and improved interviewing skills have enabled him to land a management position in the fabrication industry. His personal, direct style of communications was a very close match to this industry. Client C10036 has over 20 years of experience in transportation and distribution. He has accepted a position that could lead to advancement with a distribution operation or serve as a bridge position while he continues to work. Client C10036 recently received his MBA and CPA certification. He was looking for opportunity to move his career to the next level. Using the CTP method of reaching a decision maker for an advertised position, he was given an offer from a major accounting/consulting firm and accepted. Client C10037 is an extremely talented young lady with several advanced degrees from the U of Tennessee, which is an asset to anyone. She came to CTP because an Australian Group had acquired her company and a new manager was in charge of the SE operation. She wanted to make a change because of poor management of the operation and a desire to advance her career. In the process of working with CTP, her manager was replaced and we put a strategy together that helped her be named as president of the SE operation. Client C10038 has a background as a consultant in the IT Industry. With the help of CTP, he obtained an interview very quickly from a former company that he had contracted with some years ago. He is hoping to move to another level with this company and has had some immediate success there. Client C10039 is an IT professional who was on a temporary assignment with Target. With CTP he was able to locate a position, this time, in the Atlanta area. He is currently on a project with a major IT vendor and should be able to develop a career path with the new company. Client C10040 has a background in inside sales with the insurance industry. With CTP, he put together a proposal that was accepted by a target company for a startup investment. He is one of the primary management teams for the new company. He relied heavily on CTP for coaching and for the development of his proposal. Client C10041 was back for the second time after an unfortunate change is his new company. It did not take him long to get back into the loop because he had maintained his contacts and materials from the first time. He accepted a position with an engineering firm and will continue his career coaching with us. Client C10042 accepted a position very quickly without consulting his coach or doing the proper due diligence. As a result, he was back in our office for help. This time around, after investigating the potential company in greater depth, he accepted a new role better suited to his skills, experience and personality. Client C10043 had accepted a position in Virginia, his target market. The position was eliminated. He chose to remain in Virginia because of the location. He worked with his coach long distance through this phase of the process. As recommended, he had successfully established and maintained a new network of contacts in his industry after starting job number one and quickly scheduled interviews with those contacts. One of the contacts made an offer, which he accepted. Client C10044 owned his own business, which was declining rapidly. He had a number of interviews shortly after his video session. He accepted a position, but the company had misrepresented themselves and he returned to the CTP process. He was successful in locating another offer very quickly and accepted. Client C10045 is coming to the end of his contract, but utilized the last few months to make a career move to a much better position. He had taken the advice of CTP and carefully networked in his new industry. This approach paid off in dividends with a much better position. Client C10046 is a manager in the telecommunications industry who came to CTP because of his concern with advancement opportunities within his company. He successfully gained over five interviews in a short period of time and accepted one of the two offers that he received. He was very aggressive in his approach and it certainly paid off. Client C10047 was a senior manager in the wholesale coffee industry. He began an aggressive approach from the outset of his campaign, which paid off with a fairly rapid culmination in an excellent offer from a major vendor in the wholesale food distribution industry. Client C10048 is a very talented professional who had been career military and now is in management with higher education. He came to us because his position was very time consuming while returning a very small compensation. He has accepted a long-term project for a politician, which may serve as a career bridge, or may turn into a long-term career path. Client C10049 is a senior HR professional. Her campaign has involved a number of very good interviews, but she wasn’t closing the sale. After an interview strategy session with members of the management team, she applied the recommendations and will be receiving an offer this week. Client C10050 was an experienced software systems manager that had left the high tech industry. Now after two years out of the industry he had grown disenchanted with his sales management position in the auto industry and wanted to return. We reorganized his resume to emphasize software development. He mailed the new resume to one firm and accepted the job offer in less than 30 days from the date he first arrived at CTP office. Client C10051 was an experienced business development representative in the pulp and paper industry. She was seeking a position in the Atlanta market that would allow her to have a social life and develop a long-term relationship. The CTP office determined the best path would be to stress Project and Supply chain skills over business development. In conducting business meetings she was offered and accepted a collection manager position with a large multinational pulp and paper products firm. Client C10052 was an experienced call center representative seeking to improve his career opportunity. He had completed several years of study toward his undergraduate degree, but had sill not received his degree. In completing a psychological test it appeared he was well suited for sales. We developed a resume emphasizing his account management and customer relations skills. In a period of 30 days from the day he started he secured a sales representative position with compensation 20% greater than his past position. Client A came to CTP and with coaching
quickly accepted a VP of Business Development with a struggling software
company. Due to market conditions and the inflexibility of the senior leader,
the
Client decided to pursue other options. He was offered a position with
industry technology leader which he declined. Another company asked him to
name his price. He declined. He accepted a position with a Big 4 firm in a
business consultant role and is very happy about his decision. Another
company he was interested failed to move quickly enough. They lost out on
a talented individual. Client N was a successful business entrepreneur having built three
successful small business organizations over the past 20 years. He came to
CTP with the intent to change his business direction, thereby reducing the
stress in his personal life. We helped the client identify his successful
skills and companies of interest. He negotiated a business agreement with
a specialty manufacturer as the primary market development manager. |
